A pleasant 2 hour horseback ride will take you to typical
Cozumel homes, caves, shopping and more!
Our Cozumel Horseback Riding Adventure
provides you with an enjoyable ride through the inland jungle of
Cozumel and includes two unique stops to view a small Mayan ruin
and an ancient cave.
This is a great
excursion for families and ideal for beginners looking for a
safe and relaxing ride with in Cozumel. Our guides will
allow more experienced riders to ride to the level of their
experience.
Your Cozumel Horseback Riding Adventure begins
with pick up at our centrally located meeting place near town
and your cruise ship port. From here you will be transported in
our air conditioned vans to the historic town of El Cedral,
where your ride begins.
After a brief
safety introduction your guide will lead you off along the
jungle trails on our way to the first stop, a small Mayan
ruin.
Our ride then continues where you will be
allowed to gallop or ride to your level of experience.
Next we have a stop at an ancient cave and sink hole that are
unique to Cozumel and the Mayan Riviera.
Your tour
begins in the Town of El Cedral. You will have the
opportunity to view Maya Ruins, as well as explore typical
local Mexican shops. Ensure to bring along a few extra
dollars for your souvenir shopping.
The maximum weight per rider is 240lbs per
rider. Our tours are limited to 20 riders per excursion, though
we can coordinate special group rides up to 40. Children 8-12
years can ride there own horse behind the tour guide. Children
4-8 years can ride on the same horse of our professional tour
guide.
